Component Manager (IEC EMEA Devices team) (Finland)
We are recruiting for Component Manager to join our Device Development team part of world class R&D function.
Your key responsibilities will include selecting electronic components based on specifications and design requirements. You participate on specification phase, design and quality reviews. You actively contribute to the creation of a fast paced, high performing team with strong collaboration and continuous improvement processes.
We value the Component Manager to have skills to design innovative solutions for moving smart metering industry forward. For that reason, we wish you to share innovative spirit and to be passionate about the quality, seeking perfection in every product. To successfully deliver this role it is important to be familiar with component procurement, manufacturers and distributors. Also understanding of quality aspects and lifetime of components is needed. Knowledge of electronic components, experience in designing and testing, including know-how in PDM systems (e.g. Smarteam) are seen as an advantage.
We wish you are a team player who communicates and negotiates constructively, and have proactive and strategic approach on things. As we work in an international environment, with people from different cultural background, you communicate fluently in English and are able to prepare good technical documentation.
